Service Above Self

Rotary District 5450, in northern Colorado, is a long way from Africa, but we are involved in more than 35 projects in eleven African countries.

Rotary International has a way of bringing people and communities together, through Rotary’s unique approach to projects around the world.

Rotary Grants require community involvement, sustainable projects that will continue after the Rotary funding is spent, and true Rotary involvement by both the host and international Rotarians. This close collaboration creates projects that succeed in achieving the goals set by The Rotary Foundation: to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.
